Here are our top recommendations for great Easter destinations both long and shorthaul:
Canaries and Madeira:

Great location for good warm sunny weather and an ideal shorthaul Easter choice. We'd highly recommend the Princesa Yaiza in Lanzarote which has family suites and very good childcare/facilities from 3 yrs and a spa, or the stylish AbamaAbama with its great food, stunning beach fabulous location and childcare form 6 mths, or the popular Bahia Del Duque or Jardin Tropical in Tenerife along with the chic Sheraton Salobre in Gran Canaria and the Sheraton in Fuerteventura.

In Madeira the Jardins Do Lago is very popular with our visitors – lovely gardens, very charming, a childrens aea for all ages – staff recruited to monitor children as required. Choupana Hills is more modern, very stylish with fab food, yoga, indoor pool etc. Good babysitters. Reids Hotel is one of the Med’s most luxurious hotels, but also genuinely family-friendly, with good childrens club and facilities.

The Red Sea:

Very popular for Easter - good warm/hot weather, great for diving/watersports, excellent childrens clubs especially at Mark Warner’s Abu Soma and Neilson’s Coralia Beach Hotel in Dahab. We'd also highly recommend the exclusive Four Seasons in Sharm - it has 2 bed suites which are really ideal for families, and a good childrens club from age 5 yrs with babysitting for younger children. Great value and also with 2 bedroom family suites – the Concorde in Sharm. The Ritz is also another excellent choice. Click here for quotes.

The Med:
The weather in most of the popular Mediterranean destinations should be warm (especially in the case of Cyprus and Malta) and offer a good chance of sunnydays.
