Anassa, Cyprus

The Anassa is undoubtedly one of the top hotels in the Med - very chic, good choice of accommodation, excellent food and facilities and unspoilt location. Kids club from 4 yrs, nannies/babysitters for younger children, creche from 6 mths during certain periods. Hotel will puree food from its own organic garden for children. Utterly relaxing.

The Almyra Cyprus

sister to the Anassa hotel, the Almyra isn't strictly 5 star luxury - but it has such excellent features that we would definitely include it. Rooms are chic, the restaurants stylish and the food good (ex Nobu chef). The hotel offers a baby Go Lightly service, where you can pre order just about any kind of baby/child equipment or service, and it'll be waiting for you when you get there. Childrens pool and good kids club from4 yrs too.

The luxury boutique hotel adjoining the larger Porto Elounda De Luxe. This hotel has stunning suites - some with own pool then garden leading to the beach, butler service, excellent restaurant, own cinema screening room and it's own Six Senses spa. Guests can also use the facilities of the larger hotel (but no tvice versa) which includes a very good crèche from 6 mths.

Vila Vita Parc, Algarve

lovely hotel with good décor, excellent facilities,service and food. Golf and tennis, spa. Excellent creche (and good facilities for older children)from 6 mths.

Arabella Sheraton Mallorca

ideally located just outside Palma, the Arabella is attractive and elegant with good sized suites, great facilities (very good for golf) and crèche from 3 yrs with babysitting, and creche from 6 mths during certain periods.

Mid range:

Dar Al Masayf Dubai

part of the Jumeirah Madinat, this lovely hotel offers rooms,suites or even entire summerhouses,set in beautiful gardens alongside Jumeirah beach. It's ideal for families or groups of friends/family who need plenty of space and prefer a more intimate, peaceful environment than some of the larger hotels. There is unobtrusive but excellent butler service, and a good kids club with its own pools and fountains, and a wonderful Six Senses Spa.

Longhaul:

Le St Geran and Le Touessrok Mauritius

two of the world's top hotels -with superb accommodation, food, facilities, spas and location. They also offer very good kidsclubs from 2 yrs, and babysitting/nannies for younger children. Rooms/suites mostly take a maximum of 2 adults and one child, so become very expensive for larger families.

Le Paradis Mauritius

excellent luxury hotel in the sheltered south west - offering new family suites, which have 2 separate sleeping areas and a living area. One of the bedrooms is a dedicated childrens room, with children's bedding, safety features etc. Excellent childrens club with good facilities from 3 yrs. The hotel also offers villas which provide the ideal combination of space, flexibility with all the facilities of a top hotel.

The Residence Mauritius

lovely east coast hotel with superb service, good kids club, and very good family accommodation - senior suites for example offer 2 separate sleeping areas. There are some beautiful new one bedroom colonial suites. The hotel offers an exclusive yet relaxed atmosphere which has made it one of the most popular hotels amongst babygoes2 visitors.

Sandy Lane Barbados

world famous, and rightly so - beautiful rooms and suites with every luxury, very good food, superb spa and one of the best kids club in the Caribbean from 3yrs, with toddler corner from 6 mths, and babysitting/nannies.

Malliouhana Anguilla

lxury hotel with superb food in unspoilt Anguilla - which has arguably some of the best beaches in the Caribbean. Good childrens club from 6 mths.

Lemuria Seychelles

very stylish hotel with luxurious accommodation including 8 new one bedroomsuites. Gorgeous setting, great facilities including spa and a good kids club from4 yrs + babysitting.

One and Only Reethi Rah Maldives
sleek new hotel from the One and Only group. Stunning location, great rooms, restaurant and kids club + babysitting. Also very popular the One and Only Kanuhura in the Maldives - which has good duplex suites ideal for families and a kids club from 2 yrs. The duplex suites are in short supply and very popular, so early booking/planning ahead is essential.

Carlisle Bay Antigua
one of the most stylish options in the Caribbean, Carlisle Bay has been popular with babygoes2 guests due to its one bed beach suites which have a second small bedroom ideal for children, and can provide nannies and babysitters. The hotel is set in a beautiful peaceful location, is very chic, has a wonderful spa, its own cinema, watersports, yoga and great food. However there is now provision of a crèche/kids club via Powder Byrne from 26 March - 7 April, May half term, 15 -29 July and October half term 2006.
