Anguilla
- If you’re looking for the deserted, laid back, luxurious Caribbean, then Anguilla is the answer.
- The Island is scenically very flat, but has arguably the most beautiful beaches in the Caribbean – they really are outstanding.
- Anguilla has a well deserved reputation for top quality hotels offering a level of style and luxury rarely found elsewhere in the Caribbean.
- Fantastic gourmet restaurants – all at a price, of course.
- Easy to visit other islands – St Martin (just 20 mins by ferry).
- Stays relatively dry into May.
To think about:
- No direct flights. Fly to Antigua (7hrs 40 mins) then 40 minute flight to connect.
- This kind of luxury does come at a price – the weekly room rate is quite high, and meals will be expensive too. But, if you’ve got it, this is the way to spend it! (Although we have found one well-priced option – see Carimar Beach Club below)
