The Manoir is classified as a ‘Monument Historique’ by virtue of the fact that an Italian artist, Mario Cavaglieri, made it his home for over 40 years until his death in 1969. Legacies of his ownership are the frescoed ceilings in many of the rooms of the Manoir, the graceful Italian garden and the relaxed bohemian atmosphere of the estate.
Location:		Peyloubère is situated 6km south of Auch, the beautiful and vibrant capital of Gascony. A 5-minute walk from the village of Pavie, a 10-minute drive from the centre of Auch and an hour from Toulouse, it is ideally located for a relaxed, stay-at-home holiday - enjoying the heated pool, exploring the estate, fishing in the lake and luxuriating in the spa and sauna – or for touring the towns, châteaux and countryside of the region. With Albi, Pau, Carcassonne, Lourdes, Biarritz and the Pyrénées all within a two-hour drive and with villages, markets, music festivals and restaurants on your doorstep, Peyloubère offers a perfect holiday for adults and children alike.
Accommodation:		Peyloubère offers five self-catering cottages for 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8 people, all recently refurbished and re-equipped to a high standard of comfort and convenience and with families in mind. Each cottage is self-contained and has its own private garden with furniture, barbeque and sunshade. Two of the gardens are securely fenced, as is the pool. Cots, high chairs, baby-bath, toys and games are available at no charge. There are also two chambres d’hôte (B&B) suites in the Manoir where visiting family and friends can be pampered during your stay.
Facilities:		At Peyloubère Heated, fresh water swimming pool enclosed by a fence and two self-closing gates table tennis, badminton, football lawn, a selection of both outdoor and indoor games and a large library of children’s books and videos health Spa with 5-person spa and sauna fishing lake, woodland and gardens to explore and enjoy wireless internet freely available in and around the cottages The owners have two Burmese cats and two Labradors, Suki and Meg, who will happily retrieve balls and sticks for as long as they are thrown and become part of the ‘gang’ of children who explore and set up camps and dens around the estate. Younger children never seem to tire of feeding the ducks on the lake or collecting the daily offering of eggs from the chickens 5-minute walk - children’s playground with slides and swings. Within 40-minute drive - several leisure lakes, river trips, Zoo, Aquarium, Aqualand and Walibi theme park, horse-riding, tree-top acrobatic park, the very interactive bell museum, medieval village with siege machines, carnivorous garden and insect zoo - and much much more.
Car:		Recommended but not essential.
Travel time:		By air - 1-hour from Toulouse (Blagnac), 2-hours from Carcassonne, Pau, Bordeaux and Biarritz. By rail - overnight Motorail direct from Calais to Toulouse during summer months By car - approximately eight hours on the motorways although a more leisurely journey on the RN roads is recommended with an overnight stop around Orleans.

Sazy, St.Salvy, Lot-et-Garonne

Stay:		Sazy, St.Salvy, Lot-et-Garonne.
Location:		Nestling at the bottom of a series of gently rolling fields and screened to the rear by mature woodland, this finely restored stone property enjoys a sheltered and attractive location amidst the pretty countryside of Lot-et-Garonne. Sazy is within easy reach of some lovely local towns and villages, as well as the many châteaux, vineyards and historical sites that make this area such an attractive destination. Some 8kms away lies Prayssas, where local shops and a restaurant can be found surrounding the pretty village square. Cross the River Garonne and follow the country lanes until you reach the pretty town of Nérac where you can take a boat trip along the River Baisé.
Accommodation:		: The recent renovation has produced a charming house where open stone walls combine with impressive original floor tiles to retain the traditional character. Modern appliances are subtly combined, with the fully fitted kitchen being well equipped and comfortable furnishings provided throughout. There is: Ground floor: Living room (wood burning stove, TV, CD, video) with door to covered terrace. Kitchen (microwave, dishwasher, washing machine) with door to covered terrace. Cloakroom. WiMax internet connection. First floor: Two twin bedrooms. Double bedroom. Shower room. Outside: Garden laid mainly to lawn, covered terraces, in-built barbecue, pool house, children's swing, boules pitch, table tennis .
Pool:		Private fenced swimming pool (10m x 5m) with Roman steps.
For Children:		Cot and highchair are available on request.
Travel:		Approx 1.5hrs from Bordeaux.
