Restored by local craftsmen, the vanilla coloured Palazzo now offers 27 comfortable, air-conditioned one and two-bedroom apartments, many with terrace or balcony overlooking the cobalt blue lake lined with cypress trees with the mountains behind. The apartments are located either in the old villa, or in a more recent block, built on the former stables. All the apartments, many with balcony and terrace, have been decorated with attractive fabrics and have been equipped with high quality kitchen and bathroom fittings. Each with sitting/dining room with sofa bed, kitchen area, (2 bedroom apartments have portable ovens, others have rings only) bath or shower room. |

Shared pool and children's pool with large sun terrace, umbrellas, sun beds and children's pool is set into lawned gardens just below the Palazzo. There are sailing and windsurfing schools, tennis courts in Desenzano and four golf courses within easy striking distance. Ferries can be taken from Desenzano to the islands, and the major centres around the lake, many with historic castles and open-air music festivals in the summer. A cluster of historic villas with lovely gardens, the Palladian villas of the Veneto, the wineries of Valpolicella, Franciacorta and the art cities of Verona, Mantua, Vicenza and Brescia can easily be visited. In addition there are thermal spas with treatments nearby at Sirmione. |
