The 18 seat cinema with 3 metre projected screen and full THX sound quality is quite incredible.
In the TV lounge three enormous sofas surround an enormous fireplace and flat screen TV with connection to BBC channels including CBeebies, DVD player and stereo.
Two further lounges provide endless possibilities for just sitting about as do several hammocks scattered about the grounds where guests will also find table tennis, table football, croquet a boules terrace and a very lovely rounders bat and ball!
Upstairs, each of the eight enormous bedrooms are worthy of Hip Hotel status, complete with complimentary REN toiletries, iPod docks and the softest and deepest of fake fur throws. All of the beds are super kingsize, many are four poster by design. Crisp white linen is changed mid week and towels are changed on alternate days.
Chef option and beauty treatments/massage can be arranged on site, or at a local spa. Wine courses also available.
Mountain biking, kayaking, horse riding, tennis and fishing and a lake beach are all available locally. |

The bedrooms provide a contemporary mix of comfort and technology, whilst the tranquil bathrooms provide you with a quiet sanctuary, somewhere to relax after a day on the slopes.
The chalet garden has an enormous east-facing deck bordering a lush forest of pines, ideal for outdoor exercise, massage, barbecues or watching the sun set over the peaks from the hot-tub. Within the chalet is a dedicated sauna and spa room where guests can enjoy a range of massage and beauty treatments.
The team of six staff including gourmet chef will ensure you have everything you could wish for throughout your stay.

The chalet is equipped with baby car-seats, buggies, stair gates and high chairs. Children's dining is entirely flexible, and kiddies' menus and early dining times can be organised. The chalet has a well-stocked toy box for younger children as well as a good range of board games and DVDs. Approved baby-sitters and child minders can be booked in advance of your stay (extra charge).
In winter, there are ski schools which welcome children for whole or half days, offering both tuition and supervision. A play area and chalet equipped with toys, Playstation and other activities ensures children are kept entertained when they are not skiing. In addition, the following activities also available for children: husky dog rides, swimming pool and water garden (at sports centre for 6 months to 4 years), sledging, climbing wall, bungee-trampoline, ice-skating, torch-lit mountain descent (adults would probably enjoy this as well).
In summer, the chalet has special multi-activity programmes which allow children to try out a variety of outdoor activities such as climbing, white water rafting, hiking with donkeys, horse-riding, assault courses, mountain biking, orienteering, paragliding. And if they're not feeling quite so adventurous, swimming, ice-skating, bowling and the summer luge are all within easy reach of the chalet. Alternatively, activity sessions in the chalet such as baking, arts and craft, cookery, even French lessons can be provided.
