Where to go
For real short-haul warmth from November - April the Canaries are the best bet. While Spain, Portugal and the Balearics can all have delightful, warm weather during these months, it can be variable. Other destinations with good warm weather shorthaul, are Cyprus (we were then in November this year and it was 29°C!) Madeira, Morocco (again, 30°C in feb when we visited) Tunisia, Jordan. The Red Sea Riviera – at 5 hrs flying, is amore reliable source of good warm and sunny temperatures. For 100% guaranteed sunshine you need the Middle East (Dubai or Oman) Caribbean, Indian Ocean Africa. Lots of recommendations in each destination, just click on the links above. |
