Oman makes a great alternative to Dubai – with very little building work, the beaches are gorgeous, and there is much to explore culturally in Muscat. The Shangri-La sits on the edge of a private bay – beautifulbeaches, where loggerhead turtles lay their eggs. Composed of three separate hotels, each offering an excellent range of accommodation and superb service. Al Waha is the most suitable for families as it houses the kids club and has interconnecting family rooms. It’s still possible of course to stay at or if staying at Al waha, to enjoy the facilities at all of the other hotels – Al Husn (six star luxury) and Al Bandar. |

Standard rooms will accommodate up to two adults and a child, and family rooms consist of two separate interconnecting bedrooms, one double and a twin..The childrens room is equipped with playstation and DVD. All rooms have a balcony or terrace and are sea facing. Rooms are decorated in a clean modern style with comfortable bright furnishings. |

Little Turtles Childrens club, open all year with childcare for ages 4-12 years. Free of charge although some activities are extra. Open from 10am to 6pm and contains childrens play area, childrens pool and supervised activities. Babysitting also available from 6 months plus, bookable in advance. Children are allowed in all restaurants apart from those in Al Husn, childrens menus are available as well as high chairs etc. Childrens amenities in request – sterilising kits, baby baths, potties etc. Childrens books, DVD’s/Videos, board and video games on request. |
