Cyprus was a fabulous break -it's the perfect winter break for a family.
Being in a hotel and not having to cook or clean was a real bonus. Also the
outdoor pools (a little cold in May!!) and the indoor one were perfect! The hotel was incredibly helpful - nothing was too much trouble for them, for example, we were really disappointed to find that there was no light on the balcony and we were depending on that for a evening drink once he'd gone to bed! We mentioned it to the hotel staff and within half an hour they'd sent an electrician out to organise a light with an extension lead. All the restaurants nearby and hotel restaurants were very accomodating and didn't mind a toddler creating havoc!
All in all it was very relaxing and we're definately going back next year!
(I'd recommend staying 10 or 11 nights as we did, as the flight was long
with a toddler (4-5 hours).
