Well sadly we are now back after a truly wonderful holiday. We loved Little
Good Harbour and Andrew, Graham and Margaret could not have been nicer. They even let us have 2 nights in the 2 bed fort suite (above the restaurant) and then moved us to a 2 bed suite for no extra charge so that Toby got his own room. We had some excellent meals at the Fishpot ( the baby listener worked from the room to the restaurant by the way...top tip!!!). The beach swimming was not ideal for Toby paddling as a bit rocky (although they are working on improving this) We had a car the whole time so we ended up going down to Mullins or Payne's Bay most days but we were quite happy to do that.
The restaurants were all great...one of the maids (Arleene- lovely lady)
babysat for us so we managed to enjoy some romantic nights out at The Cliff,
Carambola, Lone Star, Mangoes, Tides &The Mews. She also babysat one
afternoon and even took Toby on a bus ride into Holetown!!!!!!!
The weather was just the right temp and Toby loved the beach and the sea and the pool. He was poorly the 1st 2 days but we visited the doc in Speightsown who prescribed antibiotics and he soon perked up.
It was def worth paying the extra for World Traveller Plus....made a big
difference as as the flight was really empty we had loads of room. Toby went
in one of the car seat type things on the middle aisle when he was sleeping
and Dave & I were by the window. He was pretty good on the outward flight
and slept all the way home!
Dave played golf and did some scuba..I enjoyed some spa treatments at Suga. We even went to a polo match!
We drove around the island and went to Bathsheba on the East coast which we thought was lovely.
All in all we had a really successful trip and are v sad that it went so
quickly!!!!!!!!!!!!!
