What a restful week. We went to Langstone Hotel and loved the service. Not a place to go without children for a romantic break but just right for families with young children. Our son is/was 9 months old. Nice old style bedroom with a cot. Baby listening service which worked very well the only one time he woke and cried. Very friendly staff. Playroom was great to use so that Daddy could have a nap. TV lounge Drawing room that the baby could practice crawling. The place was spotless as Alfie clothes were clean no matter where he roamed. Very posh dining room that always laid a place for baby if you want him/her to eat with you. Or a great 5.30pm Children Tea so you can put baby to bed and enjoy a three course meal. Great bar staff. A veranda that would not be out of place in a 1930's Agatha Christie drama which looked over the lawn and swimming pool out to sea. Lovely for afternoon tea & drinks before dinner. The lawn was spotless too and very well looked after again Alfie crawled at our feet most of the time on the lawn. Only downside was the lumpy mattress on the bed, and the blasted seagulls at 5am (City folk!).
