Have just returned from a marvellous week at La Vignola, which I would
thoroughly recommend. The apartments are very pleasant and well-appointed
and the views from poolside lovely. There is lots to do in the area and our
children enjoyed day trips to Florence, Siena and San Gimignano. Plenty of
good restaurants nearby. The villa manager is extremely helpful and
professional. The pool is great - ourkids loved swimming but would have
been nice if it were fenced off. But generally loved it there and would
seriously consider returning next year.
