We went to Anguilla April 03 and had the most wonderful time. The hotel is
absolutely wonderful,as is the food. The staff were all very friendly and so
good with the kids. The childrens pirates adventure playground was a hit as
well. They could stay there and play for a while, being supervised by staff,
when we could relax on the beach nearby. NB it is not a children's club as
such; you can not "check them in" in the morning and come back for them
later, it is just some staff looking after them when they are playing in and
around the pirate playground/pool. The spa was fantastic, and the gym was
great. We had a regular babysitter for all evenings, the kids loved her.
Finally, a tip; we chartered a private plane to take us to/from Anguilla
from Antigua. For a family of 4, it works out about the same price as
scheduled flights, but the best of all; no hanging around airports and you
can almost spent an extra day there before going home. Malliouhana does now take all major credit cards, and in fact, discourages cash and travellers
cheques.
