We've just got back from 8 nights at Sandy Lane. Absolutely brilliant. It
was expensive but worth it. We went with our 21/2 year old girl and 10 month
boy. They both loved it. They were so welcoming to both children and even
when we were having lunch in their chi-chi "spa cafe" no one minded my son
having his head covered in spagetti sauce and throwing bits of pasta around.
We even got some time to ourselves by hiring a babysitter for an hour after
lunch. Must also recommend Virgin Atlantic for the flight. They have a
dedicated channel for tots with Fimbles, bob the builder etc. Really helped.

The best thing about Sandy Lane? Mmmmmmm Mmmmmmmmm
I do not think there is just one thing that is best, as from the moment you
arrive you feel that special atmosphere, you experience that personal touch
from each member of staff, the luxurious surroundings of your room, the
exquisite surrounding of the Spa and Pool, the relaxing atmosphere as you
lay by the beach, having all your needs and wants attended to by more than
attentive staff! from cold eucalyptus towels to refresh, and frozen fruit
sorbets to cool you down.
The food is always a delight and the cocktails are some of the best I have
had served. One surprise about staying at Sandy Lane, it may be expensive
to get there, but once there is doesn't cost a fortune to enjoy yourself.
Sandy lane is a Little piece of "Tropical Heaven on Earth!"
For all travelers to Barbados do not miss out on a visit to "The Cliff" it
is a must, the food is second to none!
