We had one the best holidays ever.
The service was fantastic, the food was amazing, and the hotel was wonderful. The staff bent over backwards to look after us and especially our 2 year daughter.
Comments for your travellers with kids: If you let them know that your child is an infant, (under 3), then the chefs will cook anything you need specifically for you (eg if you need your fish and vegetables steamed not grilled) at a time that suits you. They will even deliver it via room service to wherever you are in the hotel. (and puree if you need it)
The Kids club was a nice bright building, well run. The babysitters (day and night) were also very good and reasonable at 2 pounds per hour.
Loads todo at the Shandrani, but worthwhile noting that it has three different beaches, all different styles (busy and convenient, quite and relaxed, and lastly secluded and wild) so you can choose what suits you at the time.
Very while while hiring a speedboat to go out to the reefs, a beach with giant starfish, an Island full of giant tortoise's.
Overall it was so good we stayed an extra week.
